Hi, Daddy

Well, Brent's shameless attempts from day one to get the kiddos to say "daddy" have paid off. It is pretty cute, though. Here they are:

Goodbye, Tasha

My mom's dog Tasha was killed by a coyote yesterday. It was awful. I was over at my mom's house, and my mom happened to be looking out the back window, and saw the coyote snatch her and run off. I went after them, and found Tasha. My mom and I took her to the pet hospital, but it was too late.

I'm not a real dog person, but Tasha was my favorite dog. She provided a lot of entertainment in her four years.
We kept her a lot when my mom went out of town. She and Brent loved to antagonize each other.

We called her "the circus dog," because she loved to do tricks, including jumping through her hoop. We always joked about setting the hoop on fire...that would make her a real "circus dog."

I'll miss you, Tasha.

Nine-month Pictures

We got the twins' nine-month pictures taken today. How time flies! These are some of my favorites.

This last one really cracks me up, because this is a face the Ashley makes a lot...scrunching up her nose and eyes, and it always makes me laugh.

Peeking Over the Crib

As I said, Ashley is pulling up on everything. So this is what we see every morning when we come in to their room. Brent and I laugh because it reminds us of a picture he draws of a little man looking over a fence.

Not only is Ashley crawling everywhere, she's now pulling up on everything.

My Army Crawlers

I've been delinquent in posting blogs, but life has gotten in the way, I guess. My two little buddies are crawling everywhere and getting into everything. It is crazy, but so fun!!!
