Anti-Laundry

Ashley enjoys doing what we have termed "Anti-Laundry." It involves taking laundry out of the basket one piece at a time. I caught it on video here, but you will notice that there is quite a bit of laundry already on the floor. She had already taken all of that out. What a mess! Hopefully, it won't be too long before she learns how to put laundry into the basket. ;)

Hugging Daddy

Ashley has started doing a really cute thing where she leans in for a hug. She particularly loves to do it to her daddy.

Though we did not catch it on video, it melted our hearts the other day when Ashley leaned into Tyler like this. It is the sweetest thing when they love on each other!

Hi, Daddy

Well, Brent's shameless attempts from day one to get the kiddos to say "daddy" have paid off. It is pretty cute, though. Here they are:

Goodbye, Tasha

My mom's dog Tasha was killed by a coyote yesterday. It was awful. I was over at my mom's house, and my mom happened to be looking out the back window, and saw the coyote snatch her and run off. I went after them, and found Tasha. My mom and I took her to the pet hospital, but it was too late.

I'm not a real dog person, but Tasha was my favorite dog. She provided a lot of entertainment in her four years.
We kept her a lot when my mom went out of town. She and Brent loved to antagonize each other.

We called her "the circus dog," because she loved to do tricks, including jumping through her hoop. We always joked about setting the hoop on fire...that would make her a real "circus dog."

I'll miss you, Tasha.

Nine-month Pictures

We got the twins' nine-month pictures taken today. How time flies! These are some of my favorites.

This last one really cracks me up, because this is a face the Ashley makes a lot...scrunching up her nose and eyes, and it always makes me laugh.
