Baby Dedication

I've had a number of people complain that I'm behind on my blog posts, so I'm going to try to catch up. On October 24th, we dedicated the twins at church. It was a wonderful day! We intended to do it earlier, but this year has gotten away from us. When we walked in, in our coordinating outfits, Ursula commented that we looked very put together. Brent replied back that it only took us 11 months to get to this point :) It was so wonderful to have friends and family together to celebrate the babies with us, and to commit with us to show them the love of Christ as they grow.

After the service, we all went to my mom's house where Toby prepared a delicious feast of steak and crab legs for us. It was a really great day! Here's a fun pic of the four babies playing at my mom's.

Lace Dresses

My grandmother gave us these two lace dresses for Ashley and Athena. One was worn by my dad's cousin (the yellow one), and one by my cousin (the blue one). That makes them about 55 and 27 years old respectively. We had to get some pics while the girls still fit in them, so we put them on a blanket out in my mom's backyard last Wednesday, and my mom took some great pictures.

Teenie Thenie

I love this picture of my brother holding my niece. When discussing nicknames for Athena, I suggested Teenie Thenie. Brent does not approve.

The Triplets

Since my mom found out that my brother and sister-in-law were expecting, just 3 months after us, she has started calling the twins and their cousin...the triplets. We figure they will definately feel like that sometimes. Well, here is "Gram" with the "triplets."

Athena Grey Fullbright

My niece - Athena Grey Fullbright - was born this Tuesday to my brother Toby and Sister-In-Law Karla. She is adorable! She was born February 2, 2010 at 4:44PM, weighing 6lbs. 6ozs. , 19 inches. My mom thinks she is going to follow in her Gram's footsteps and be a math teacher, born 2/2 at 4:44, weighing 6-6. I have been delinquent in taking pictures of the little angel. I've just wanted to hold her and ooh and ahh over how tiny she is, and forget to shoot a picture. I thought this one was pretty cute, though, even though it's not the best quality.
