Baby Dedication

I've had a number of people complain that I'm behind on my blog posts, so I'm going to try to catch up. On October 24th, we dedicated the twins at church. It was a wonderful day! We intended to do it earlier, but this year has gotten away from us. When we walked in, in our coordinating outfits, Ursula commented that we looked very put together. Brent replied back that it only took us 11 months to get to this point :) It was so wonderful to have friends and family together to celebrate the babies with us, and to commit with us to show them the love of Christ as they grow.

After the service, we all went to my mom's house where Toby prepared a delicious feast of steak and crab legs for us. It was a really great day! Here's a fun pic of the four babies playing at my mom's.

A Day at the Park

It's been gorgeous weather here in OKC, and last Friday my best friend Ursula and I went to the park with our kiddos. Here are two of the pics that I got of the three little ones.
Aren't they such cuties? And, no, it's not a camera trick...both Tyler and Ashley are bigger than little Joy, now.
Just for reference, here's a picture I took right after the twins were born, when Joy dwarfed them. They've certainly grown!!!

Little Bundle of Joy

We finally got to meet our new goddaughter yesterday. Her name is Joy, and there couldn't be a more perfect choice! As many of you know, my best friend Ursi, just got back from Pennsylvania last week. They had spent three weeks there waiting for the interstate compact to go through, so that they could bring their new adopted daughter home to Oklahoma.

The adoption process was not always easy on our dear friends, but seeing Joy in Ursi's arms, and hearing Ursi talk about her, made me know that the Lord had brought the right baby to them. What a blessing!
I know I'm biased as a godmother, but Joy is such a cutie!!! We can't wait to watch her grow!!!
